Ateneo de Naga University Student Hospitalization Service
The Ateneo de Naga University (ADNU) maintains active collaborations with local health institutions to support and improve student health and wellbeing outcomes.
One key initiative is the Student Hospitalization Service, established in 2014. Under this program, ADNU ensures that students who experience medical emergencies, whether on campus or during school-sanctioned activities, receive prompt and proper care.
To facilitate this, the university maintains an official account with the Universidad de Sta. Isabel–Mother Seton Hospital, a DOH-accredited local hospital. This partnership allows for immediate medical attention without administrative delays, particularly in critical situations. It reflects the university’s commitment to safeguarding student health and underscores its proactive approach to managing medical emergencies efficiently.
This collaboration not only ensures continuity of care but also supports the university's broader goal of promoting a safe and health-conscious campus environment.
Through its Student Hospitalization Service, ADNU provides prompt and appropriate medical care during student emergencies.
From School Year 2015–2016 to 2019–2020, the university handled 25 emergency cases, including accidents and medical incidents, in partnership with Universidad de Sta. Isabel–Mother Seton Hospital. After a pause during the pandemic, the service resumed in SY 2022–2023 and has since supported 21 more cases, showing its continued importance and impact.
This service helps avoid delays in critical care and highlights ADNU’s commitment to student safety, especially during on-campus and school-sanctioned activities.
