ACCREDITATION

All educator preparation programs in California operate under a set of state-mandated Preconditions. These include General Program Preconditions, which ensure oversight, access, and compliance across all programs, and Induction Preconditions, which apply specifically to teacher induction programs, ensuring that new teachers receive individualized, job-embedded support aligned with the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs).

The California Induction Program Review process verifies that induction programs provide individualized, job-embedded support aligned to the CSTPs, and demonstrate evidence of implementation across program standards through documentation and reflective inquiry.
