Whether you are a seasoned Canvas pro or using Canvas for the first time, Instructure offers an excellent training course that provides in-depth instruction on Canvas basics and allows you to earn an official Canvas badge at no cost.
The course and all materials are provided by Instructure. It is self-paced and asynchronous, so you can complete it at your convenience. It also serves as a helpful Canvas reference for future use.

Downloading Student Course Evaluations
If you are using the Canvas Quiz version of the Student Course Evaluation Survey, don't forget to download your responses BEFORE entering final grades in the Student Information System (SIS). A step-by-step guide to this process is below:
If you are using the Google Forms version of the Student Course Evaluation, this download is not required. For more information on the Google Forms version, check out the Templates page of this website.
Cross Listing Canvas Courses
Cross Listing Canvas Courses
Crosslisting is combining multiple sections of the same course with the same content into a single "host" course.
It allows all cross listed course sections to be managed out of the "host" course.
Incorrectly cross-listing courses can result in course materials being damaged or lost. Please cross-list courses only if you are familiar with the process and confident using the cross-listing feature.
If you have any questions or are unsure about the process, please contact the CTL in advance.
Important Reminder: Cross-listing must be completed before the course begins.
