DR. DEREK BRUFF
With twenty years’ experience as an educator and academic leader in higher education and over ten years as director of the Vanderbilt University Center for Teaching, Derek Bruff bring a deep understanding of teaching and learning and faculty development to work supporting the teaching missions of institutions. Drawing on and contributing to the scholarship of teaching as well as leveraging my own classroom experience, he works with faculty and programs to implement research-based teaching practices and with academic leaders to foster institutional structures and resources that support effective teaching.
