Seesaw is an online portfolio platform. However, Seesaw represents the opportunity for much more. Students can add images, Google Drive files, videos, and drawings to Seesaw showing their learning. Once there, photos can then be annotated with markup and voice notation providing the opportunity to present the student's learning, reflect on the experience recorded, or simply add an audio eliminate where there was not one before.
Teachers can also create assignments or assign some from the Seesaw library. In these assignments, students are provided an image, often a Google Slide background such as a graphic organizer, that can be annotated. This tool would be on the frontline of online learning because all of these responses immediately jump into the teachers journal where he/she can provide feedback and even share with the rest of the class and parents.
