The public is invited to join us for our third annual Blue Mass - Friday, September 11, 2026 at 7PM - in our historic church in Oakland. Gather with us to bless, honor and remember all first responders of Allegany and Garrett Counties. People of all faiths are welcome to gather in prayer with us.
A reception, hosted by our Ladies Auxiliary, will follow Mass next door at our Parish Center Hall. Please share our invitation with your favorite First Responders!

A Blue Mass is celebrated annually for those employed in the public safety industry, which includes police officers, firefighters, corrections officers and paramedics. The name comes from the traditional uniform color associated with law enforcement.
Today, we recognize, honor and wish to extend blessings upon all active-duty and retired first responders and their families, and remember all those who served and have gone before us. Invite your family, colleagues and friends and join us!
