In Animation 3, students work on solo or group projects geared towards competitions and building their portfolio.
Animation Projects
Addison Collins in Animation 3 just completed her first project of the year! She started it last semester in class. The short film is called LOST AND FOUND. It's about a girl named Molly who left her favorite bag at work and makes an unlikely friend when she returns to find it.
It combines live-action and animation, using greenscreen, 3D cameras, visual effects, and stop-motion animation. It's also an ASL film, which Addison is very passionate about, and it shows in this film.
Created by Animation 3 student Michael Do, using greenscreen compositing, rotoscope, masking, and visual effects to tell his animation story.
Addison works on her digital hand-drawn animation story using Adobe Photoshop Motion Workspace.
