Resident House Parents (HPs) live in apartments in the boarding houses, with their families. Assistant House Parents (AHPs) are staff members who live off campus, and come into boarding one evening every week and some weekends to spend time with boarders, organise activities and to help with the running of the houses.
You will see HPs frequently as they are around several evenings every week and are the first point of call in the evenings or at the weekend to check in on you. They are in 'loco parentis' whilst boarders are in Singapore, acting as the primary guardians whilst on campus. They are your key contacts, alongside the dayparents (DPs). The houses wouldn't function without our support team who support the boarding house during school hours.
We are also fortunate to regularly have the residential support of boarding interns. The interns assist the boarding team and are heavily involved with the day to day running of the boarding houses, especially enrichment activities.
