Our orientation programme is to help new boarders transition smoothly into boarding life. Through a series of engaging activities and guided introductions, students get to know their roommates, staff and the wider boarding community. These sessions provide an opportunity to build friendships, understand daily routines, and gain confidence in their new environment — ensuring every boarder feels welcomed, supported, and at home from the very start.
Boarders are allocated to one of the 3 houses and put in rooms to create a diverse and supportive community across grades and nationalities. Please understand that we have created rooms and houses that we believe will support the welfare of the whole community, and that we cannot accept requests for changes to rooms that benefit an individual to the detriment of the community.
At this stage, the rooming is provisional, and please understand that if circumstances change between now and August, it may be necessary to make minor changes, although these will be rare.
We will set up group chats so that Roommates and House mates will have the chance to chat over the coming days and weeks.
