GENERAL INFORMATION
Arrival & Departure
- Teams should plan to arrive on at the Park Royal Hotel on Thursday (March 16th 2023) by 5pm.
- Buses will transport teams to UWC Dover for the coaches briefing / welcome / opening ceremony and will return teams to the Park Royal Hotel.
- Each day of the tournament buses will transport teams to UWC Dover and the Park Royal Hotel in the morning and late afternoon of the games.
- Teams should plan their departing flights on Sunday (March 19th 2023) to leave no earlier than 4pm as buses will leave UWC Dover by 1:30pm.
Coaches Briefing / Information
- The coaches briefing / welcome / opening ceremony will take place at UWC Dover at 6pm on Thursday (March 16th 2023).
- Bats will be inspected during the coaches briefing (only ISF, NSA, ASA and USSSA bats with accreditation logos can be used at SEASAC tournaments).
- A coaches whats app group link has been emailed to the teams athletic directors to share with sports coaches.
Facilities
- The Girls' and Boys' Softball tournaments will be held at UWC Dover (AYE A, AYE B and Bus Bay Astro).
- Each school will be given a rest area for all participating athletes.
- Tour of key facilities.
Security
- Teams will be provided with Security Passes - they should wear these on entrance to the College campus and during the tournament.
- Parents and spectators that are coming to UWCSEA Dover to watch the game, please ensure that you have some form of photo identification for visitor registration at the Security Guardhouse.
- The College has excellent security, but coaches should ensure athletes' valuables are stored away safely.
- Teams need to take responsibility for their own valuables.
Food
- A buffet lunch will be served for all teams on Friday (March 17th 2023) and Saturday (March 18th 2023) between 11:30 and 2:30 in the Upper Canteen (video here).
- The Heritage Cafe will be open all day on Friday (March 17th 2023) if extra food and beverages would like to be purchased.
- Packed lunches will be available for collection after the final awards presentation at 12.30pm on Sunday (March 19th 2023).
Refreshment
- There will be water provided at the game venues.
- Schools should ensure that athletes bring a water bottle that they can refill when required as paper cups will not be provided.
Wifi
- Free wifi is available on campus.

- Once you have registered your name and email you will be sent a 6 digit pin to log in.
Medical Treatment
- There will be an ambulance and medics on duty at the game venues.
- Should we need to take an athlete for hospital treatment, we will use National University Hospital (NUH).
- Staff are requested to ensure that they can provide all necessary contact details and documents for insurance purposes and have the funds to cover expenses incurred.
Transport
- The transport coordinator for both boys' and girls' tournaments is Carol Tolentino.
- Carol will coordinate transfers between the airport and Park Royal Hotel and between the hotel and game venues each day.
- Her mobile number, along with other important numbers are in the contact list on this website.
Welcome / Opening Ceremony Dinner
- This will be held in the Tent Plaza at UWC Dover on Thursday (March 16th 2023) at 6:30pm.
- The evening will include: welcome speech, dinner, entertainment and a quiz.
- The dress code for the dinner will be funky socks.
- Buses will transport teams to UWC Dover for the coaches briefing / welcome / opening ceremony and will return teams to the Park Royal Hotel.
