Presentation of the journey: The Original Challenge → The Inspiration → The Tested Solution.
The Prototyping Process.
Goal: Present your prototype and explain the logic behind your inclusive design.
The Problem (The Challenge): Briefly explain the specific physical-ability barrier you identified in your playground research.
The Inspiration (The Seed): Show your chosen Singapore-themed source (nature or architecture). Point out exactly which shapes or patterns you "remixed" to create your design without directly copying it.
The Testing (The Pivot): Show your "Design Graveyard" or early sketches. Explain one specific thing that failed during user testing and how you refined it to be more inclusive.
The Demonstration: Show your functional prototype in action—show the class how it specifically works for your target user.
Goal: Create a fast-paced, engaging video that captures your 12-week journey for a digital portfolio.
0:00–0:30 (The Hook): Start with a close-up of your final prototype. State your mission: "I took inspiration from [Source] to solve the challenge of...."
0:30–1:00 (The Transformation): Use a split-screen or "before and after" shot. Show the original inspiration source next to your design sketches to prove it is inspiration, not imitation.
1:00–1:45 (The Iteration): Show "fast-motion" footage of you building or testing your prototype. Narrate your biggest "Lightbulb Moment" when you realised how to make the furniture more accessible.
1:45–2:00 (The Closing): End with a clear statement on why inclusive design matters for the Singapore community.
