Identity is about who you are and all the different things that make you, you!
It can include your personality, experiences, relationships, culture, background, beliefs and faith, as well as your gender, sexuality and how you express yourself.
Starting or continuing college can be a time of change, discovery and growth. You might be exploring who you are, thinking differently about yourself, or supporting someone else who is. There is no single way to experience or understand identity, and it can develop and change throughout our lives.
Use these resources to explore the different parts of your identity, ask questions, or start a conversation with a friend, trusted adult, your Progress Tutor or Student Support. You don’t have to have all the answers. Exploring who you are is part of growing and developing.
Your Link Tutor, Progress Tutor, or Student Support Team are here to listen and support you. You can also email support@suffolk.ac.uk or visit the Student Support Office at any time during college hours.
You've got this - and we've got you!
