You will need to know a few things:
Your College Username is your student number which is in the format: stu-999999
Your College Password is the same password you use to get onto a PC in the college.
Your Google Apps Email Address is in the format: stu-999999@gapps.suffolk.ac.uk
Note: You will need to make sure you know your password for your phone account to download apps.

You will be logged in straight away
Enter your Google Apps Email Address
On the next screen enter your College Username and College Password
To get Google Classroom on your Android Phone or iPhone you must first download it from:
the Play Store on Android
the App Store on iPhone.
Once you have downloaded the software, open it on your phone by finding it in the apps and pressing it with your finger.
When you first open the app you will need to sign in.
Because you will be using a college account the steps are different from the official Google guidance.
The college process is:
Tap Classroom
Tap Get Started.
Tap Add account > OK
Enter your Google Apps Email Address
A screen will appear asking for a College Username and College Password.
If there is a welcome message, read it and tap Accept.
You can read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and tap I agree.
When the option appears for teacher or student, click Student.
Go to the Classwork tab.
Find the assignment and click on the name.
Click View assignment
Click Add or create. Here you can:
Upload work from Google Drive
Add a link
Upload a file
Create a new Google Doc
Create a new Google Slide
Create a new Google Sheet
Create a new Google Drawing
Upload or work on the files you are required to do from the assignment instructions. To work on a new Google Doc, Slide or Sheet, click on the created file to open it in a new tab. Close the tab when you have finished working on it.
Once you have all the files you require, press the Hand in button.
A warning will appear to ask if you want to hand in your work and showing the files you are attaching. If all the files you require are attached, press Hand in.
In this case, you will only need to access Google Classroom and press the Accept button.
In this case, you will need to:
Go to Google Classroom
Click the plus icon at the top right of the screen and press Join Class
Type the code in the Code in the Class Code box
Press the Join button at the top right of the screen.
