Invests Strategically in Digital Resources
Leverages an understanding of school and community needs to identify and invest in digital resources such as books and ebooks to support student learning.
Works with District Bookkeeper to maintain accurate records of Common School Fund (CSF) purchases
Manages grant, memorial and other special funds outside of CSF
Manage CSF to purchase resources across a variety of platforms including digital and print
Use Common School Funds within state purchasing guidelines
Monitor usage statistics for print and nonprint materials to monitor trends and collection needs
Promote free resources as well as purchased ones.
Periodic inventories to verify an accurate collection database.
Collaborate with curriculum committees to plan for changes in curriculum which will require an adjustment in purchasing
Uses professional collection analysis tools to target spending and remove outdated items where most needed
Communicate with administration for larger purchases outside of the standard budget.
