Yes, we are a Robotics Team and building the Robot is important. But, we do so much more than just make a big hunk of metal and plastic play in a game. In the fall we run multiple STEAM camps for grade school age kids, teaching them about science concepts and engineering problem solving skills. We also host the FLL championships for Central Oregon. We also hold a Garage Sale that fills our Cafeteria with donated items. The Fall is also a time for us to recruit new members and improve our building skills. In the spring we do multiple outreach activities to elementary and middle schools. We also time all the track meets at MVHS running the computers and inputting the results onto the software program. This is also the time we make contact with all of our business partners and recruit new members.
