Prepare a 3-minute video of you orally introducing your original research (video file size limit of 100MB).
You are allowed to use one static slide in your 3MT presentation or no slide at all. The use of a slide is optional.
The video needs to include a view of the presenter's face and ideally the upper body so to demonstrate non-verbal delivery (eye contact, facial expression, hand gesture …).

All successfully submitted 3MT videos will be reviewed by a panel of faculty from various disciplines.
A total of 12 finalists will be selected. The finalist candidates will be notified for availability of the final event.
The finalist list will be announced on our website by May 26 (Friday), 6 p.m.
初賽繳交之影片將由各領域教師組成之委員會審查並選出十位決賽入圍者,主辦單位透過email通知入選同學並確認能否參加決賽。
決賽名單將於5月26日公布於競賽網頁並通知入圍者。若無法參與6月7日現場決賽者將由次高分數者遞補。
A single static PowerPoint slide is permitted. No slide transitions, animations or 'movement' of any description are allowed. The slide is to be presented from the beginning of the oration.
No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.
No additional props (e.g. costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment) are permitted.
Presentations are limited to 3 minutes maximum and competitors exceeding 3 minutes are disqualified.
Presentations are to be spoken word (e.g. no poems, raps or songs).
Presentations are to commence from the stage.
Presentations are considered to have commenced when a presenter starts their presentation through either movement or speech.
The decision of the adjudicating panel is final.
Comprehension and content
Presentation provided clear background and significance to the research question
Presentation clearly described the research strategy/design and the results/findings of the research
Presentation clearly described the conclusions, outcomes and impact of the research
Engagement and communication
The oration was delivered clearly, and the language was appropriate for a non-specialist audience
The PowerPoint slide was well-defined and enhanced the presentation
The presenter conveyed enthusiasm for their research and captured and maintained the audience’s attention
