Ronald V. Morris, Ph.D.: Education Specialist and Ball State University Professor Morris has taught eight years in public schools and presently teaches methods classes; he will lead the workshop sessions and tour along the National Road and will be the main contact for faculty and teacher participants.
Denise Shockley, Ph.D.: Superintendent of the Gallia-Vinton Educational Service Center. She brings experience with teacher professional development and field studies to the project. She will lead the field trips and will be the main contact for logistics and travel.
Suzanne Stanis, M.L.S.: Senior Vice President of Education for Indiana Landmarks. She also supervises Indiana Landmarks’ Indianapolis, West Baden Springs/French Lick Springs hotels heritage tourism divisions, and Samara, a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home in West Lafayette. Suzanne will assist participants with research.
Laurel Marion, M.A.: Technology Consultant at the Gallia-Vinton Educational Service Center. She has experience in developing and presenting technology workshops for teachers. Laurel built and will maintain the NEH workshop website and will assist participants with technology.
