Gallaudet University’s Center for Continuing and Online Education (CCOE) offers a wide variety of professional and personal development, leadership, and outreach programs. These learning opportunities and services are provided year-round and address the needs and interests of deaf and hard of hearing individuals, their families, youth, communities, and professionals working with them around the globe. Our learning opportunities include both credit and noncredit offerings delivered within a bilingual (ASL/English) learning environment through onsite gatherings, remote sessions, online platforms, at other locations, or through a combination of these learning environments.

Learn On Campus or Online

Personal and professional development; leadership and outreach programs; customized training programs; events and other rich learning opportunities and services are provided year-round.

ASL Courses

ASL I-VI and special topic courses are offered on-campus and online.

Online Learning

Online courses offer the option to study anytime, anywhere, to gain skills or earn a degree.

On Campus Courses

Graduate, undergraduate, and professional studies courses and certificate programs offered year round.

Online Degree Completion

Online programs accepts your old college credits in transfer toward a new online degree to complete your degree.

Customized Training

Educational opportunities designed to address the needs and interests of professionals who work with deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

Certificate Programs

PST certificate programs are designed to satisfy requirements for professional development.

Who can apply?

Professional Studies and Training (PST) courses are offered for non-degree credit by the Center for Continuing and Online Education. The courses are open to anyone who is qualified to do college-level work. Adults with a high school diploma or its equivalent and visiting students from other colleges may enroll in PST courses. Applicants under age 18 must provide proof of graduation on a high school transcript or a GED certificate.
