The students loved having school lunch week and trying different foods!!
Each Thursday and Friday students are offered fruits and veggies in the afternoons that are provded through a grant to our school.
We would like to thank our cafeteria staff for working so hard to plan the fantastic week. They go above and beyond to decorate the cafeteria!
We have a wonderful free opportunity that we are going to do with 2nd graders and our MSD class. This will take place on October 22 and 23. This program is free and is geared toward arts and disabilities. So basically inclusive arts in schools. Its based around Carl the Collector from KET https://pbskids.org/videos/watch/full-episodes/1902411/twin-sister-hamster-sitters-incorporated-the-sneaker-collection/2146635 - hes a raccoon with autism. The residency will be for two days. An artist (Amber Richardson) will come in a lead a lesson and provide resources for teachers and caregivers. It is two 45 minutes sessions on 2 back to back days.
