The project aims to involve students in a series of engaging activities revolving around a main topic: a healthy democracy. European values, human rights, freedom of speech, social justice, equity, inclusion are presented as a shared responsibility that every student must be actively engaged in for democracy to be fostered and maintained. The celebration of International Days is seen as an opportunity for exploring and analysing the causes and consequences of this backsliding of democracy. After the invasion of Ukraine, in the very heart of Europe, students can’t avoid being worried and wondering how the European Union can move forward, without forgetting - on a more personal level - specific and practical actions that we all can take to be involved citizens. Founder’s and co-founder’s schools are EPAS and students are Junior Ambassadors of the European Parliament.

Indicators : The Democracy Index is based on 60 indicators, grouped into five categories:
