Following the signing of a sister school agreement with Gimcheon High School earlier this year and an in-person exchange, students from both schools reconnected through an engaging online exchange. The theme of this event was "A Day in the Life of a High School Student."

The international exchange began with a warm welcome from Mr. Youn Sang Park, the principal of Gimcheon High School, and Mr. Chen, our library director. Both greeted the participants with enthusiasm, setting a vibrant tone for the event. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and excitement as students and faculty came together to launch this meaningful exchange.

After the welcoming remarks, students participated in an interactive session where they shared fun and intriguing facts about their respective schools. This session was far from conventional. Designed as a lightning round, students from our school and Gimcheon High School alternated in asking questions about each other’s institutions, transforming the activity into a lively and friendly competition.

The highlight of the event came when students from both schools shared insights into the daily lives of high school students in Taiwan and Korea. Through captivating presentations, they explored topics ranging from where they purchase breakfast to their favorite pastimes after school. Adding a creative twist, our students produced a short film showcasing life at Chenggong High School, demonstrating their ingenuity and making the event even more engaging.

The 1-hour exchange concluded on a high note with a musical performance by our students. They sang "Old Classroom" by 831, a popular Taiwanese band. The song’s vivid portrayal of school life in Taiwan provided a memorable and heartfelt ending, leaving a lasting impression on their peers at Gimcheon High School.
