In our commitment to nurturing global citizens, we celebrate the myriad forms of international exchange and graciously welcome visitors from all corners of the globe. We have received schools from the US, Korea, Japan, the Philippines, and beyond. We take students to these schools to share our culture and learning experience as well. To greet our international guests, both the students and the faculty organize an engaging series of activities.
Presentation and Culture Exchange
We usually begin by introducing our school, followed by a presentation about Taipei and Taiwan. This provides our visitors with a deeper understanding of our community and the rich culture of our country. Also, we arrange free activity time, during which our students accompany their peers to explore the campus.
Joining the Classes
We also welcome exchange students to join our classes and interact with our students. For instance, during physical education classes, they can participate in sports activities together, and in English classes, they can engage in discussions on various topics.
Insect Science Museum Tour
Our visitors will be invited to a captivating tour of the Insect Science Museum, home to Asia's most extensive collection of specimens of butterflies as well as other insects. Our students would be responsible for introducing the insect specimens and the stories behind them. Our students would go through the training beforehand. If you are interested in insects, come visit us.
Taipei Tour
Our school ambassadors also lead tours of popular tourist attractions in Taipei, such as Ximending, CKS Memorial Hall, Taipei 101, etc. They would showcase the beauty and history of Taipei. Before the tour, our students have to take a micro-course, English Walking Tour Guide and Adventurer, and receive a 5-week training period designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills.
Culture Box
At the end of the exchange, we often arrange a cultural box exchange based on the wishes of the participating schools. Students from both sides select gifts they believe best represent their country and school and heartfelt messages they wish to share with their counterparts. The items in a box are sent to the partner school, allowing the connection of the exchange to continue beyond the event itself.
