April 22, 2022 Issue (next issue on May 13, 2022)
Dear GAA Families,
As C3 came to a close, we were honored to celebrate the Class of 2022 during the Senior Walk. This has been a long journey and we are so very proud of each member of the graduating class. Thank you for your support, your partnership and all of the hard work that has gone into the success of our students. The last step in their journey will be completion of end of course assessments and IB World Exams. Please refer to the schedules that have been sent via email and ManageBac for the exam schedules and expectations.
We have noticed an increase in the number of students that have been late to classes throughout the school day. As a result, we will be running lunch detention for high school students. Students will be assigned to lunch detention according if they accrue 5 or more lates. We believe that attendance and punctuality are critical to student success; your partnership is greatly appreciated in this endeavor.
April 25 and 26- Senior study leave. Students will not be marked absent.
April 27- MOE Islamic Exam
April 27- Grade 12 Exams begin
April 28- PCR Testing
May 2- Eid Holiday Begins.
May 26- Graduation rehearsal and Senior Brunch
May 27- Graduation Ceremony 5 pm at Zayed University

The PE Department where excited to relaunch the Varsity Cup for the first time since COVID which brought the whole Secondary GAA community together.
High School students were able to play against the teachers in several events to showcase their skills in the hopes of defeating the teachers. It was a closely fought contest with many out to support the students but the teachers reigned victorious.
Haya Alraeesi scored two goals to win the soccer match for the students to create an early lead but the teachers came back to win all other games.
Congratulations to everyone!! We look forward to many more events like this in the future.
Juniors have successfully completed their multimedia campaign aiming at the GAA community wellbeing and improvements.
Please enjoy their works!
