Dear GAA Parents,
As we look ahead, we are aware that a few families may be leaving the country over the Winter Break. We would like to inform you of the withdrawal process at GAA.
If you intend to withdraw your child from GAA please follow the below process:
Log in through OASIS
To initiate the withdrawal please request a transfer certificate through GEMS OASIS system https://oasis.gemseducation.com/ using your GEMS username and password. If you do not recall your password, you are able to click “reset password” and a temporary password will be sent to the primary email that we have on record.
If you continue to have difficulty with logging in, and require a password reset, any member of our Admissions team will be able to reset your password and provide you with new credentials.
Clear all Accounts
During the last two weeks prior to your child’s withdrawal from school, please ensure that all accounts are clear. This means returning all library and text books, returning the family passes, returning any IT equipment or musical instruments and ensuring outstanding fees are cleared in all departments. Please note, that we will not be able to issue a withdrawal package unless all accounts are cleared.

Transfer Documentation
Documents will only be prepared on request. If you are in need of any transfer documentation, please inform the Admissions Office of your requested documents 2 weeks in advance. As the documents you may require is different depending on the country/school your child/children will be moving to, we ask that you contact the new school and request a list of documents they will need to complete the enrollment of your child/children. Please share the list with our admissions team prior to the students last date of attendance.
If the student account has been cleared, the transfer documentation will be available on the last date of attendance. You are welcome to collect these documents from the admissions office between 7:30am-4pm during regular working days. Please understand that we will not be able to release any documentation prior to the last date of attendance.
Students transferring to a school within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will not need a transfer certificate. However, for our own records and for us to complete the withdrawal process for your child/children, a transfer certificate (TC) request is still required. As mentioned above the TC request is done on our parent portal.
First Term Report Card.
Students who withdraw after December 1st will receive a first term report card. Student report cards will be available at the end of the first term (end of January) and emailed to parent directly.

We are pleased to announce that the registration for the 2021/22 school year is NOW open. The registration is ONLY for NEW students who would like to join GAA for the next academic year.

Please complete the online registration at your earliest convenience and ensure to complete the “Sibling information”. Priority placement will be given to siblings of students already at GAA.

Facility to pay by credit card is made available. You can avail fee discounts by paying the whole years’ fees using your FAB GEMS Co Brand Credit Card.
FAB Representative Mr. Mark Henry (mobile: 0543144146, email: Mark.Gabrah@bankfab.com) will be able assist, if you wish to register for the above mentioned facility.
IMPORTANT!: Coordinate with FAB representative to ensure FAB records GAA tuition payment transaction(s) with the "12 months 0% Easy Payment Plan and no processing fee." Alternatively text "EPP" to number 2121 and FAB representative will be contacting you to arrange for Easy Payment Plan.
Discount scheme is based on fixed rate percentage on tuition fee paid in advance according to the above calendar of fee cycle using the FAB GEMS Titanium Credit card only.
The discount is applicable only if minimum of one term tuition Fee is paid in advance and can avail for a maximum of one Academic year.
Any outstanding fees must be paid in full before being eligible for the fee discount
The discount is based on the current fee structure. Should any revision to the fee structure be approved by the regulatory authority at a later date, the difference shall be payable by the cardholder.
In case of any refunds, the official refund policy will be applied and the discount already granted will be adjusted accordingly.
The discount is applied on the net tuition Fee after concession/reduction, if any.

GEMS Rewards login credentials will be emailed to new parents once the child begins the academic year at GAA.
At GEMS Education, we see it as our duty to provide every child with the best education possible. Our parent community are our best advocates and the Ambassador Programme is our way of saying thanks for playing an active role in our success. Introduce a new family or friend to the GEMS community and earn back 4% of the referred child’s annual tuition fee in the form of GEMS Points which will be redeemable against school fees or transport fees.

Your friend will receive an email with a link to complete an application for their child.
Receive your GEMS Points once your friend’s child has successfully enrolled and settled.
For each new student that is successfully enrolled in any participating GEMS school, upon your referral, we will give you 4% of the referred child's annual tuition fees as GEMS Points. These points can be used to pay your child’s tuition fees or transport fees.
Mrs. Smith has three children at Dubai American Academy (DAA). She referred her friend Sarah to GEMS World Academy Dubai (GWA) based on the positive experience that she had at DAA. Her friend Sarah successfully enrolled her two children at GWA in Grades 6 and 8. Mrs. Smith will now receive GEMS Points equivalent to AED 7,419 which can be used to pay her children's school fees or transport fees.
The referred child should not currently be attending a GEMS school.
For each referred child successfully enrolled you will receive 4% of that child's annual tuition fees as GEMS Points, which can be used to pay your child's tuition fees or transport fees at your current school. The referred children cannot be from the same family.
The referrer must be a parent with a child or children already attending in a GEMS school.
Referrals have to be submitted online prior to registration & admission.
Referral rewards are paid once:
Per successful admission.
Once 1st term tuition fees have been settled.
The student has attended school for at least 2 weeks.
Referral rewards are not applicable for siblings of existing GEMS students.
Referral rewards are not applicable for students transferring school within the GEMS network.
Multiple referrals of the same student will be rewarded on a first referral – first reward basis.
Referred friends with children already attending a GEMS school do not qualify for this discount.
Referrals must be for families without children at any GEMS school.
GEMS Points cannot be transferred to others.
Referral admissions are subject to the school admission & assessment policies & procedures.
