Absent Students

To avoid full-price fees assessed on your student's account, review the collection date for your school and make arrangements to return all technology items if you have a planned student absence.

Personal Items

Your student must remove all personal accessories (USB dongles for wireless mice/keyboards, headphones, etc.) before returning their technology equipment. We are not able to return personal items once the technology is collected.

Damages

All damages to the listed items will be assessed and fees charged to the student's account after collection. The Department of Technology Services uses the summer to repair, clean, and sanitize devices for student use the following school year.

Viewing Fees and Fee Payment

View your student's fees online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you have not already created a Parent Portal account or have questions about your student's fee, contact your school.

Pay your student fee via Revtrack or by check/money order made payable to the Excelsior Springs School District. Be sure to include the student's name and student number (found in the Parent Portal) on the payment to ensure the monies are applied to the correct account.

Graduating Seniors

Be aware diplomas are available when the student has a zero-fee balance. Turn in all listed items on Graduating Seniors collection date. Final technology fees are assessed after the Graduation Seniors' collection date and inspected for damage before graduation practice.

Further Questions

If you have any questions about technology collection, or anything related to the technology issued to your student, contact our Technology Services Help Desk at 816-630-1200.

Clever APPS

These are some of the apps accessed through Clever. Clever is one app/site location where students and teachers use one username and password (or a scannable badge) to access the rest of their learning resources.

The Clever sync with PowerSchool is paused on the last day of school. This allows students to continue to access programs like RazKids throughout the summer. The connection between Clever and PowerSchool is turned back on once PowerSchool is updated for the new year.
