Schoology Discussons

In this hybrid course, learning professionals learned the foundational skills to do the following: 

  • Analyze how to dig deeper with Schoology Discussions through Rigor, Relevance, and Engagement. 

  • Create a well-thought-out discussion board to use with their classes. 

  • Develop a SMART goal and a learning objective that aligns with the student outcomes for the discussion board.

  • Create a discussion board that includes the following components of Rigor, Relevance, and Engagement: prompts, norms, layered questions, student aids, and rubrics. 

  • Differentiate student discussion groups by creating varying grading groups. 

LINCspring- Schoology Grouping and Differentiation 101

Teachers will learn how to personalize differentiated instruction by becoming familiar with and implementing Schoology Grading Groups and reflecting on their implementation of Schoology Grading Groups to set personal goals for improving their differentiated instructional practices.



Alief + LINC Learning at Hastings Ninth Grade Center

In this course, educators will learn to differentiate instruction using Schoology Grading Groups and the Individual Assign tool. Educators will apply what they have learned from the Schoology Grading Groups LINC cycle and begin designing and implementing grading groups in their Schoology course.
