Welcome to the Colt's Counseling Corner
I'm Mrs. Smith your Elementary School Counselor at Walnut Elementary. As we navigate this new year of 2025-2026 learning my hope is to continue to provide resources and content that can help your student with their social- emotional development and wellness.
During the school year, I work with students by providing whole classroom lessons, targeted group counseling during lunch, and individual counseling. I also collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and community members for student support and parent resources.

National Native American Heritage Month is celebrated each year in November. It is a time to celebrate the traditions, languages, and stories of Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and affiliated Island communities, and to ensure their rich histories and contributions continue to thrive with each passing generation.
