Safety Briefing

What to do in a Fire

If you spot a fire

·       Evacuate the premises immediately and hit a break glass unit on the way out (you will find these on your escape route).

·       Call 999 and ask for the fire service, state the name of the residence and the address (see above)

·       Congregate at a designated assembly point and group leaders should take a roll call to ensure no-one is missing

·       Do not re-enter the building until The Fire Service has confirmed it is safe to do so.

Details of the fire alarm and evacuation procedures can be found on the Hall specific information sheet (please scan the QR code) and also on your bedroom door.  You should familiarise yourself with all the fire exits as soon as you can after arrival.
