IMPORTANT! Participating in ANY internship while studying in London — remote or in-person internship; London-based, US-based, or otherwise — requires a UK student visa unless you hold a UK passport. You MUST have completed the Internship & Work Study Request Form and applied for this visa through the London Centre. NO EXCEPTIONS.
To participate in an internship in London, you must have completed and submitted the Internship Request Form on your OrangeAbroad application. Because special visas are required per UK immigration, places for internships are strictly limited and deadlines firm. The deadline to be considered for Spring 2024 was October 2.
Students who have NOT met the above requirements, even if they have arranged for a US-based internship with a Main Campus sponsor, MAY NOT PARTICIPATE in an internship while studying in London.
Students with questions regarding internships or concerns about scheduling around them should contact Charlie Loynes, London Internship Program Manager.
If you're accepted and commit to the internship program, you are required to take The Global Workplace and must include it on your Student Advising Form. Seek advising from your home school or college and ask about any limitations or restrictions on your registering for this course.
