STEP ONE:
GET READY
TAKE NOTE of these program requirements:
All undergraduate students are required to take a minimum of 12 credits.
Due to Italian immigration requirements, you may not drop below 12 credits at any point during the semester.
You may not enroll in more than 19 total credits without approval from your home college (visiting students seek approval from Syracuse Abroad); registration over 19 credits is subject to additional per-credit tuition charges.
All undergraduate students are required to take the following:
CAS 200.1 – Mapping Italy: This one-credit class begins online before your arrival in Florence and includes in-person and online sessions at the Syracuse Florence campus during the semester.
Italian Language or Literature course(s): See the Determine Your Italian Level page for details on your required Italian language course.
Accepted to a Special Program (including Architecture, Studio Arts, University of Florence (in English), and Wake Forest Business)?: You can find detailed information on the courses required for your program in OrangeAbroad > Planning Your Schedule.
CONSIDER these additional options:
Internships are available (1-2 credits)

Special Permission to enroll is required, see the Special Permission Courses webpage for more info.
