假如你問我何為一見鍾情的景點，我的答案必定是位於新莊的文昌祠。 文昌祠的外觀色彩主要由屋頂的黃、檐口的藍綠及大門的紅構成，屋架則以紅黃為主色，青綠、藍白、金色為輔。這座廟的入口看起來小，但是到了裡面別有洞天。 其建築形式是標準傳統四合院式格局。正殿內掛有兩幅傳統吉祥彩繪畫作。
If you ask me what I love at first sight, my answer is definitely Wenchang Temple in Xinzhuang. The exterior color of Wenchang Temple is mainly composed of yellow roofs,blue and green cornices, and red doors. The roof trusses are mainly red and yellow, combined with other colors, such as green, blue, white, and gold. The entrance of this temple looks small, but there is something special inside. It is a standard quadrangle architecture style. There are two traditional auspicious paintings hanging in the main hall.
一幅是以玉蘭和牡丹主體、珊瑚等吉祥物品陪襯，稱「玉堂富貴」； 另一幅以佛手搭配水仙、靈芝構成吉祥圖案，稱為「芝僊 （仙）祝壽」。文昌祠內建有文物館，有時會舉辦學術講座，或展示一些文物。祠堂的建築典雅靜素，凡是到廟裡拜拜的人或讀書人都會產生尊敬與平靜的心。
