On Wednesday November 11, 2020 Send It On was able to do its first collaborative volunteering with Crossroads RI. Recently CVS Pharmacy worked with Crossroads RI and was able to send them a large shipment of food, which Crossroads RI was able to turn into food item bags to distribute to their clients (For more information on Crossroads RI). Crossroads RI then sent us the supplies so that we could help them make 94 food bags for homeless individuals, here are some pictures of the fabulous volunteers and the bags we were able to make!
Special thanks to Kendra Sharrock for taking the photos at this event, everyone at the Student Programs, Leadership & Orientation office, and most importantly our amazing volunteers.
As you can see from this picture on the left, each bag contained:
1 Jar of Peanut Butter
1 Cooking Spray
1 Box of Sugar
1 Box of Oatmeal
1 Jar of Garlic
1 Bottle of Honey
1 Salt and Pepper

Pictured here is our advisor, Dr. Campbell, who helped us start our great program
Check out the shirts our officers and members are wearing, and you could be wearing one too! In the picture above the shirts designs featured from left to right are: design two (short-sleeve), design one (long-sleeve) and design two (long-sleeve). But if t-shirts aren't your thing, keep an eye out for some new options and designs coming soon.
Besides how great you will look in these shirts, whenever you buy shirts it allows us to keep helping those who are without permanent housing in our community. The short-sleeves are $12 and the long-sleeves are $16. To find out more about our shirts or to purchase a shirt immediately, click the buttons below.
