now that i've wrapped principle photography, i wanted to compare my key images to the stills i ended up with

we shot everything twice. first with the mattebox ears (idk what they're called, the side eyebrows) open...

...then with the ears closed.

(notably, two of the three screencaps have been poorly graded by me, which is why the colors are so crunched. dan didn't do me dirty like that, i did me dirty like that)

i was back in ohio for the weekend and was able to record my parents delivering the lines for MOTHER and FATHER from the script for scene 1. 

after collecting the voice lines, i edited them in such a way that they flow as if my parents were in the space of the set, delivering the lines in time.

i'm debating if i'll include that here. partly because it's REALLY rough, partly because spoilers, omg. check back later to see if i've decided.

update as of 3/10/23: i'm not including it here. guess you'll have to watch the final film, oh darn :)
