Acceleration

This program provides students with an opportunity to obtain a .5 credit for Health, Government, or Economics or one credit for High School PE or Art. Programming is outside of the traditional school day, resulting in extra time during the academic year for other classes. Information on Online Acceleration Courses is linked here. 

Summer School

RISD summer school programming serves students and the community through engaging experiences that inspire and enrich the whole child. These programs will allow students to explore their interests and gain valuable experience to add to their resumes. Information on summer school programs and classes will be available in the Spring of 2027 on the summer school webpage linked here. 

Dual Credit Summer School

Richardson ISD and Dallas College offer dual credit courses with waived tuition, allowing students to earn high school and college credit. Interested students should complete the form linked here. The counseling team will follow-up once enrollment for dual credit summer school opens.
