Transcripts and TSI

GreenLight Locker allows you to access and send your official transcript and other academic records to colleges, scholarships, employers, and other organizations. 

1. Go to GreenLight Locker Registration

2. Select “I’m a Student” and choose “Register without enrollment code.”

3. Select Richardson ISD as your school district.

4. Enter your:

   • RISD Student ID

   • Date of Birth

   • Last Name exactly as it appears in your school records

5. Click Verify.

6. Complete the registration form and create a username and password. Your password must be at least 12 characters, including an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and special character.

7. Use your personal email address, not your RISD email, so you can keep access to your account after graduation.

8. Check your email and click the verification link to activate your account.

9. Log in to your GreenLight Locker and make sure you can see your high school transcript.

Important: If you already have a GreenLight account through Dallas College, dual credit, or another program, do not create a second account. You may need to claim your RISD transcript within your existing GreenLight account instead. 

The Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSI) helps colleges determine whether you are ready for college-level coursework in math, reading, and writing.

The TSI assesses skills in:

• Mathematics

• Reading

• Writing

Some students may be exempt from taking the TSI if they meet certain requirements, such as qualifying scores on approved standardized tests.

Performing well on the TSI can help you:

• Avoid remedial (developmental) courses

• Save time and money

• Begin college-level classes sooner

• Stay on track toward your degree or certificate

Preparing for the TSI can improve your placement and help ensure a successful start to your college experience.

TSIA2 scores are valid for five years from the date you take the assessment.

ELAR (English Language Arts and Reading)

You meet the college readiness standard if you have either of the following:

• An ELAR score of 945 or higher and a WritePlacer essay score of 5–8, or

• An ELAR score below 945, an ELAR Diagnostic Level of 5 or 6, and a WritePlacer essay score of 5–8

Mathematics

You meet the college readiness standard if you have either of the following:

• A Mathematics score of 950 or higher, or

• A Mathematics score below 950 and a Math Diagnostic Level of 6

Meeting these benchmarks demonstrates college readiness and may allow you to enroll directly in college-level courses without developmental education requirements.

1. Go to accuplacer.org.

2. Click Information for Students.

3. Select Your Score Report.

4. Enter your RISD student ID number and the requested personal information. For Institution Where You Tested, enter Richardson ISD.

5. Click Search.

6. When your information appears, click Send Reports.

7. On the next page, review the Privacy Policy and General Agreement. Check the box indicating that you have read and agree to the terms, then click Accept.

8. Follow the prompts to select the college(s) that should receive your TSIA2 scores and submit your request.
