Westwood JH

If your child lives in our attendance zone, they are in the Westwood (WWJH) feeder pattern. This means, they do not have to apply for the magnet program. They will automatically be zoned for Westwood. If your child is  a transfer student and you want them to go to Westwood JH, you must fill out a magnet application by the deadline. 

Westwood offers Leadership and Math Based Science (engineering) as magnet classes.

west JH

West JH is the Arts and Technology magnet. If your child is interested in attending one of these awesome programs, you must fill out a magnet application. 

Visual Arts & Theater Arts both require an interview and students are chosen based on their submissions. If your child is interested in the visual arts magnet, please talk with Ms. Brunelli. (Lee.Brunelli@risd.org) 

Robotics, Culinary, and Communications are chosen by a random lottery.
