Project Borneo involved working within the Sunbear sanctuary.
The students removed overgrowing foliage, and put in place a path to allow the keepers easier access to all of the animals.
Mama Wati, was a local lady, who provided lunch everyday. Her cafe was perched over a storm drain, and at night she slept there as she had no house of her own. A beautiful lady, full of love for life.
Working in thirty eight degrees proved a challenge, but one which they overcame and completed the project on time.
The students also visited a primary school in the rain forest area, providing English lessons and fun for the local children.
Rest and relaxation, and some time at the beach, snorkelling over the reef.
