Chloe Bagshaw

Subjects studied at College: Applied Business, Applied Science, English Literature and World development. Left QE in 2014.
University Course: Business Studies - Northumbria University
Current Job: Product manager with MV Sports & Leisure
What do I do?: I develop new products within the outdoor toys market, working closely with licensors like Disney, Universal, Dreamworks and many kids tv shows whilst also creating our own brand concepts. We distribute to major retailers globally, like Amazon, Halfords, Argos, Smyths, Tesco etc. and showcase at large events, such as Toy Fair London and Toy Fair Hong Kong.

Ethan Bird

Subjects studies at College: Applied Science, Psychology, Sociology and PE. Left QE in 2015.
University Course: Sports Therapy - University of Central Lancashire moving onto a Masters in strength and conditioning at Salford in 2020.
Current Job: National level Strongman competitor, Model, Business Owner at Birdman Strength, currently in final year at University.
What do I do?: I have worked at several different clubs whilst on placement, including St Helens Rugby League. I was offered a job from one of my placement providers at Fylde rugby club. At the moment I have a few different job opportunities and I am currently deciding how I will organise my time after uni. I’ve been offered a job at Wharfedale rugby club and i’ve just signed a modelling contract. I’ve also been given an office in a gym for my business to grow.

George Peden

Subjects studies at College: Applied Science, English Literature, Psychology and Modern History at QE. I left in 2016.
University Course: English Literature and History.
Current Job: Supervisor at Utilita Arena - Newcastle
What do I do?: I am regularly in charge of around 10-15 staff members, I am in charge of stock take and organisation for each upcoming event, and will work alongside my manager during the event to ensure everything is running correctly. I have worked on shows like Liam Gallagher and the Killers which were big sell out events.

Harley Jade Smith

Subjects studies at College: Applied Science, PE and Health and Social care and left in 2016.
University Course: Leeds Beckett University and then a PGCE in secondary teaching at Durham University
Current Job: I have secured myself a job as Teacher of Girls PE in Crystal Palace in London starting this July.
What do I do?: I will be teaching girls core PE, teaching GCSE year 10 theory lessons alongside leading the extra curricular netball clubs!

Pip Edgar

Subjects studies at College: English Literature, Applied Science, Psychology and Maths. I left QE in 2016.
Apprenticeship: I got my place to do Business Studies at York and Newcastle university, but in my second year at College decided university wasn’t for me so started to look at apprenticeships. I applied for a number of different companies, Nestle being one to do Business and Supply Chain whilst also being sponsored to study Supply Chain Management at Huddersfield.
Current Job: Supply chain management at Nestle.
What do I do?: Since 2016 I’ve lived between York and London and done 6 different managerial roles in different areas of the business. The area I chose to focus in was logistics and Transport. I am now off scheme and have taken a full time role in Nestle looking at efficiency of transport and managing relationships with our external stakeholders- so I’m constantly busy and always problem solving as there is always something going on!
