Schoology is the Learning Management System that Conrady uses to organize class materials, assign homework and assessments, maintain grades and communicate with families. This presentation walks through many of the ways that you can use schoology.

The presentation was created for the 20-21 school year with a focus on using it with hybrid learning.

Teacher Account Navigation

In this tutorial, I demonstrate the basic navigation of a teacher account and how to customize your settings and notification preferences.

Course Navigation

This screencast drills down into the layout and organization of your Schoology courses. You can learn about how to customize the appearance and settings of your course, how to post announcements, assign badges and add co-teachers/grading groups.

Materials: Part I

In this tutorial, we discuss adding materials to your course for students to access. Specifically, we talk about the basics of setting up assignments and look at the student view of assignment submission. Finally, we talk about how to check student submissions, provide feedback and grade work.

Materials: Part II

This screencast talks about the basic setup and use of the test/quiz, discussion board, file/link/external source, and remaining material types available in Schoology.

Resources

In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to use the personal resources section of Schoology. The resources section allows you to store and share materials for use in future courses even after your classes have been archived at the end of the year.
