This tutorial provides an overview of the 'dashboard' tab of your Hapara courses. Learn about the student panels, organization of the student panels and creating student groups for differentiated document sharing.
Whenever you wish to share Google Documents, Slides, Sheets and Drawings with your students, Hapara Smart Share makes it as easy as a few clicks. Share a unique copy to each student's Drive or share a read-only version for the whole class to view. You can share these files with individuals, groups or classes and share with multiple classes at once. **IMPORTANT: Make sure the file is NOT open in another tab when using Smart Share or a sharing error will occur**
Monitor student emails and Drive files using the Gmail and Sharing tab. Toggle between their inbox, sent folder and deleted folder to retrieve messages. Navigate throughout the tabs of the Sharing tab to see unshared files and files saved in folders for a different course.
This newer feature of Hapara allows you to see an updated view of student activity in real time. View the browser tabs that students have open, close tabs you don't want them to have open and take screenshots of pages they have open. View a live image of their current browser screens, instantaneously share links and comments with students, or use the 'Focus' feature to create a lockdown browser to restrict access to all websites accept those that you send.
The Class Info tab will allow you to add a co-teacher to your class, view student email addresses, add students who are missing from your class list and copy a unique class email address that can be used to send a message to all your students.
