Ana Arismendi-Morton grew up in Venezuela and has worked for the Moreno Valley Unified School District for nearly 32 years. She has been married to Greg Morton, A.P. of North Ridge and Midland, for almost 37 years. They have two children, Natalie and Kevin. Ana has worked at Valley View High School, Butterfield Elementary, and several departments at the District Office, such as Facilities and Registration, Student Services, Categorical Programs, and the Superintendent’s Office, where she become the first person to serve as district translator. She has been in Secondary Education for the last 16 years under seven different Directors. She is very committed to helping MVUSD students graduate and communicating with their parents and the community in English or Spanish.
Mr. Whitmore has served in education since 1999 as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, site administrator, and district administrator. For three years in between, he worked for a private educational technology company, traveling across the United States to help educators use assessments and data to transform their instruction for students. He is married to Sonia, his college sweetheart. Together they have a brood of three boys, two cats, and four chickens. The family has traveled to Maine, New York, Arizona, Las Vegas, and up and down the California coast twice. Mr. Whitmore has been an avid sports card collector since 5th grade. Nerd alert!
