Article Review: "What's The Difference Between Parametric and Variable Fonts?"

The article, “What’s the Difference Between Variable and Parametric Fonts?” distinguishes the differences between Variable and Parametric fonts and how they have evolved from the past contemporaries. I think that this article is very informative in the creation and evolution of these fonts. variable fonts allow a single font file to behave like multiple fonts, with an infinite variety of potential weights, widths, and other attributes, while parametric fonts operate between a set of defined parameters, providing widely adjustable alternates for x-height, stroke width, and letter width. I agree with the article that the future holds greater and better advancements in the artistic and creative styling of Fonts, both parametric and variable. Moreover, I feel that I have been able to gain a better insight on typefaces and how the two types work.
