Coaches or Advisors can register their team here: Rocket League Sign Ups.
3 players and 3 alternates.
Students participating in the MVUSD Esports League events must be affiliated with their school’s esports team or club and have a school staff advisor as a point of contact.
Participants must be on their school’s Rocket League roster.
All participants must be middle or high school students in MVUSD.
Home-schooled students must be affiliated with only one school.
COVID-19 may present unique situations that must be approved by tournament administrators at MVUSD Esports before the tournament begins.
Top teams advance to in-person tournament, as applicable.
Within one hour of the tournament start, coaches must have submitted a final roster of players participating on their team.
Playing with unlisted players will result in penalties up to and including disqualification
Tournament is 3-v-3. No substitutions are allowed
All matches are best-of-3, 5-minute matches.
THE FIRST MATCH UPON ENTERING THE ARENA IS A WARM-UP (meaning it doesn’t count)
After a team wins three matches, the remaining matches should not be played.

The top teams from Rocket League each season will be invited to a Championship tournament (Date TBD) with prizes and trophies for the top three schools in each division (MS and HS).

All standard controllers, including mouse and keyboard, are legal. Macro functions (e.g., turbo buttons) are not permitted.

Following these instructions should make it easy for your opponent to meet up in the arena without having to contact you or you contacting them. Failure to follow these instructions could result in a forfeit, especially if it delays progress of the match.
Communication from league officials will be conducted through the MVUSD Esports Coaches/General Managers Teams Channel.
The winning coach should report the score to league officials via the Teams channel, or whatever alternate method officials have established.
We encourage the winning team to take a screenshot of their wins as evidence in case of a dispute.
MVUSD Esports will not ask for the screenshot if there is no dispute.
To avoid being forfeited unnecessarily, please report any delays to tournament progress to MVUSD Esports via our Teams channel.
The expectation is that matches begin within 5 minutes of the bracket match being populated or the tournament start time.
Depending on the delay or other disruptive factors within the tournament, team coaches or advisors may or may not be contacted through Teams before the forfeit.
Coaches must use the Teams Coaches group to reach out to their opponent before requesting to avoid erroneous forfeits
Sportsmanship and respect are key values of MVUSD Esports League and persons failing to adhere to these values can be removed from the league/tournament as well as the rest of their team.
Please ensure students are aware of the code of conduct and adhere to that code at all times.
Decisions made in accordance with these by MVUSD Esports League officials are binding.
The top four teams in the MS and HS Rocket League Season will be invited to our Rocket League In-person Tournament (Date/Location TBD). Win/loss record will determine the top teams. In the event of a tie, a play-in match will be required.
