DR. ALDRIN P. LEE
Dr. Aldrin P. Lee is an Associate Professor at the Department of Linguistics, UP Diliman. His teaching and research areas include grammatical description, morphosyntactic analysis, generative grammar, ethnolinguistics, linguistic fieldwork & language documentation, lexicography, & Korean linguistics and cultural studies. He has published articles in several journals including the Philippine Social Science Review, Cognition, and the Journal of Global and Area Studies. At present, his research projects include inquiries on the relationship between language and nature, particularly on ‘island linguistics’, and a Korean-Tagalog parallel corpus translation project funded by the National Institute of Korean Language. He is the current President of the Linguistic Society of the Philippines (until 2023).
