Educators Rising is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) membership organization for aspiring teachers and other professional figures working in education. This school-based program helps young people explore a future career in Education through the Educators Rising extra-curricular organization and the Education courses offered via online delivery. High school students have the opportunity to join the extra-curricular organization even if they are not ready yet to engage in the courses. 

KPBSD Chapter was established in February 2017 and we are looking forward to being the reference point for all high school students of our district who want to become educators. 

Throughout the year, Educators Rising KPBSD offers several opportunities for students, including workshops, occasions for leadership skills development, visits to Alaska university campuses, participation in a yearly Spring state leadership conference, the opportunity to participate in the National leadership conference at the end of June, the connection with the Alaska University system, and more.
