My name is Emily Chestnut. This is my fifth year teaching 6th grade science. I am originally from Conway, South Carolina and am proud to say I am an Ocean Bay Middle and Carolina Forest High School Alumni myself! I spent my first 3 years teaching in Columbia where I completed my undergraduate and graduate degree at The University of South Carolina, Go Gamecocks! My husband and I moved back home last summer and are expecting our first child, a baby girl, in November. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with family, being on the water, exercising, and watching Gamecock Football
