Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. I am so excited to be back for my fourth year at OBM, teaching 6th grade ELA. I moved here from Ohio a little over 3 years ago. I’m beginning my 34th year of teaching. Most of my experience is in Elementary Education/Special Education. Since teaching at OBM I have taught all three levels of ELA.

I live in Murrells Inlet with my husband, my youngest son who is off to Coastal this year, our dog, Rocco, and our new kitten, Patches. I have 3 other adult children and one grandson. I love spending time with my family, being on the Inlet and in my pool. I can’t wait to get to know all of you and support your child this year.
