This poster is from the curriculm Second Step, I know some of you know these skills. Students, please practice these skills if you are having a strong feeling.
Remember: Name your feeling because you have to know what you are feeling.
Then: use a coping or calm down skill like breathing.

A small problem is a problem you can solve on your own or with other friends, normally you do not need a adult to help.
Second Step
Remember, do not play the blame game. A problem is a NEED or a WANT. AVOID playing the blame game by saying what is the problem for YOU using "I statements..."
