High School

The majority of Chapa Cougars will become Lehman Lobos.  If you need to contact a counselor at Lehman, please click on this site.  LHS will soon be sending out course verification forms to all rising 9th graders.  Instructions on how to request course changes will be listed on the forms.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact the CMS 8th grade counselor, Magda Flores.

High school course guides can be viewed by clicking on this link.  Courses and the accompanying required endorsements can be quite confusing and overwhelming.  Parents and students are highly encouraged to read the Navigate Your Future guide.  This guide explains the different endorsements and recommended course paths for each endorsement.

Any students wishing to get ahead on their high school credits are encouraged to look at the district's online learning options.  While these are somewhat self-paced, students are expected to remain within a recommended timeline and have to complete the course within the designated time-frame.  Interested students can view the options here.

Current 8th grade students:

You can now view your course requests for the 2023-2024 school year, and have an opportunity to request changes. Visit the Lehman High School Counseling Center web-page for directions. Verification Round #1 runs from April 6 to April 10. We will have another opportunity starting May 11.
