It is important for middle school students to see their counselor when they are feeling anxious or sad. We offer:
Emotional support. We are trained to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for students to talk about their feelings and help them develop coping strategies.
Early Intervention. Addressing emotional challenges early on can prevent them from becoming more serious problems later. By seeing your counselor when feelings of anxiety or sadness first arise, you can learn effective strategies for managing your emotions. This can help you throughout you life.
Academic success. Students who are emotionally distraught may have trouble focusing in class, completing assignments, or even attending school. By working with your counselor, you can address issues, improve academic performance, and achieve your full potential.
